Greetings from the land of lisps- where speech impediments are hot. I have been living in Spain for about a month now and cannot believe how fast time has flown without recording any dets down! I recently just switched into a new homestay, adios Carrer De Avenir! and now live in an amazing one on Comte de Urgell. My senora is so chill. All she does all day is drink, smoke, listen to the radio, yell at "ROSETTA" (the 15 year old cat), and play computer games. Yes, she is definitely an alcoholic no questions asked... we get along splendidly :) The stories that I have for no one reading this are endless, so I'll do random flashbacks and what not!
This weekend:
Went out to dinner with Kate and Jane and discovered the district El Born, the best place to be in Barcelona I say by far. It's kinda like Las Ramblas minus the sketch and the steroids. We ate an amazing dinner which is now just a faint memory that will forever linger.
Went to Montserrat on Saturday and that was amazing. The mountains are unreal. The hike was intense and was so steep but definitely worth the pain I'm feeling today in my buns.
When we got back we went to the futbol game and won.. obviously. So much fun. MESSI!!!
Then we tried to get into Roxy for free before two but couldn't because that was too early for barca time, then tried to go to Duvet which ended up being Seniors night, and then tried to get in ten times harder. Then we finally stumbled to La Fiera the circus bar and got in for free because it was almost closing. Lee was stealing drinks the whole time, and got ruffied i mean wasted.
I think I am going to book my flight to Amsterdam tonight, I don't see why not :)
